My name is Matthew Rock, and I’m a mechanical engineering student at the University of Tennessee, with a passion for precision and hands-on problem solving. For the past year, I’ve worked as an engineering intern at a modern prototyping startup, where I’ve been involved in everything from CAD and 3D printing to CNC machining and final inspection—often under ISO 9001- and ITAR-certified standards.
Beyond engineering, I’ve gained firsthand experience in how a fast-moving company operates—learning about organization, quality control, and the business-side decisions that keep production running smoothly. I started RockTechLabs to give individuals and teams access to high-quality 3D printed prototypes—without the delays or impersonal feel of big manufacturers. Whether you're a student team, an engineer, or a local business, I’m here to help you bring ideas to life—quickly, reliably, and with zero shortcuts.
My goal with RockTechLabs isn’t just to make great parts—it’s to build real connections with the people I work with. If you have a project in mind, feel free to reach out, set up a call, or even meet in person if you’re local. I’m always excited to work with motivated people, learn from new experiences, and grow both as an engineer and a human being.
